     INTRODUCTION 
      This is a presentation on the implementation of the 4th quarter 
        targets (January – March 2020) on the DPSA’s 2019/20 APP.
      The 4th quarter report was audited by the Department’s Internal 
        Audit and Risk Management Directorate. 
      The Department has complied with the submission of the report to 
        the Minister, National Treasury, and the Department of Planning, 
        Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) by the required deadline. 
      The progress on the implementation of the APP targets is rated as 
        either

      Monthly reports on the progress towards attaining the quarterly 
        targets  were  produced  and  areas  of  under  performance  were 
        escalated  to  the  Director-General  and  Minister  for  their
