                 Policy: 
                  
                 Acute Care Client with diet order of: 
                  
                         Diabetic Diet will receive a Standard Diabetic Diet. 
                  
                 This will be 1500 calories for women and 1800 calories for men. 
                  
                 All patients with a specific calorie level ordered will receive calorie level according to Diabetic 
                 Standard Patterns established, or an individualized meal plan will be developed by the Food 
                 Service Supervisor or Dietician.
